Spinach and Cheese Tart

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust - rolled to fit a tart pan with removable bottom
- CUSTARD
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- FILLING
- 3 cups spinach, stemmed, chopped and cooked
- 6 oz. Gruyere cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
Instructions

Combine custard ingredients, mix well. Combine filling ingredients and place in bottom of tart shell. Pour custard over filling. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes or until golden brown.
