1pie crust - rolled to fit a tart pan with removable bottom
CUSTARD
2cupsheavy cream
5eggs
1/2cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1/4teaspoonfresh thyme leaves
1/2teaspoonTabasco sauce
1/4teaspoonnutmeg
1/8teaspooncayenne pepper
1teaspoonsalt
FILLING
3cupsspinach, stemmed, chopped and cooked
6oz.Gruyere cheese, grated
2tablespoonsfresh basil, chopped
1tablespoonfresh oregano, chopped
Instructions
Combine custard ingredients, mix well. Combine filling ingredients and place in bottom of tart shell. Pour custard over filling. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes or until golden brown.
