Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts

Ingredients
- 1 5 oz. can whole water chestnuts
- 9 strips of bacon, cut in half
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- Drain water chestnuts and marinate in soy sauce for 1/2 hour. Drain and roll each water chestnut in sugar, wrap each water chestnut in bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Place on rack in shallow pan.
- Bake 400 for 20 minutes, broil for an additional 5 minutes until the edges of the bacon brown
- Serve hot
